Johnny Vazquez of Mexican decent is without a doubt one of the most sought after dancers in the Salsa Industry. Johnny along with his Imperio Azteca, took the world by storm when he began his career over 13 years ago in Los Angeles. Considered one of the worlds best instructor and performer, he has been contracted to teach and perform at over 70 International events, world wide, including Asia, Europe and the Americas.
Famous for being the creator of the La style salsa along with his famous brothers, Francisco and Luis Vazquez, he is a pioneer of the Salsa Industry and was crowned the price of salsa by none other than Mr Eddie Torres, The King of Salsa. Johnny is known for his precise, clean and super fast style, his unforgettable performances and choreographies, not forgetting his overwhelming Charisma, contagious party spirit and super humble personality, that has led him to win three consecutive World Salsa Championship titles, which has yet to be repeated by any other dancer in history. Johnny Vazquez, is also the director of the famous Johnny Vazquez dance company, which is dedicated to training professional dancers for competition and world performances.
Johnny has now also began his career as a talented singer releasing his first album, Baila Rhumbero, which sold out in its first months of release, he is now working on his well anticipated second album, which promises to be another best seller. Johnny Vazquez is more than just a dancer, he is capable of holding an audience weather it be, dancing, presenting, signing, animating etc, he is truly a SHOW MAN!
LILIANA VAZQUEZ
Liliana Vazquez, is the driving force behind Johnny vazquez dance company, using her skills as an influential director and manger, and years of experiencing in running one of Austrlias largest dance companies. Liliana has been teaching and performing for over 7 years, and has trained with and performed witith some of the worlds best salsa and latin dancers. Liliana has also contributed to Johnny Vazquez new album ESCANDALO, as a talented singer, performing duests with her husband Johnny Vazquez. Liliana is known as probabaly one of the industies most influential female manger and director, working along side salsa biggest promters and organizations. In 2006 she was recognised by the Puerto Rico parliment and awarded a salsa ambassodor award, in aknowledgement for her promtion and work in the industy. Liliana has headed some of the worlds largest dance academys, with over four dance studios all directed bne her and her team. Liliana Vazquez is now the director of Johnny Vazquez dance company, as well as a prioncipal dancer and instructor in Johnny pro dance team.
JENNIFER SILVA
Jennifer Silvas has been dancing for 26 years and is trained in all styles: Jazz, Hip-Hop, Ballet, Tap, Salsa, and Swing. She has had a very successful dance career. She has worked with artists as big as Pink and Cher and has been in numerous commercials and television shows! In salsa, she has danced with the best of the best: Alex Da Silva, Salsa Brava, Royalty Salsa, Rudy Zalez, Willie Watana, Francisco Vazquez and now the "Prince of Salsa" Johnny Vazquez! In 2000, she was a finalist in the Congra Room Salsa Competition, where she performed at the world famous "Hollywood Bowl." In 2002, she competed with Rudy Zalez in the Mayan World Salsa Competition where they took 1st Runner Up. In 2003, she started "Royalty Kids" a salsa company for children where they travelled the world. In 2007, Jennifer took 1st place in the "Top Female Dancer of Los Angeles Competition" at Steven's Steakhouse. She is now Johnny Vazquez's principle dancer and they travel the world performing and teaching, doing what they to do!
