Rules binding the participants of special events and meetings (on the basis of mining regulations and internal directives in force)



1. The ride down/entrance (up/exit) by means of the shaft to the mine underground excavations:
    * maximum number of persons travelling on one Ievel of the elevator (shaft cage) is 9, during the ride down/entrance (up/exit) by means of the elevator, leaning out and placing hands and Iegs outside the shaft cage is prohibited,
    * before entering the elevator for riding down/entrance (up/exit), the participants should stand in the distance of app. 3 m from the elevator entrance, during the ride down/entrance (up/exit), participants should absolutely submit to the orders of persons supervising the entrance (exit) process and of shaft hangers-on (signallers),

2. During the stay in the underground excavations of the "Wieliczka" Salt Mine, traffic is permitted solely along the assigned paths (in the excavations) under the care of persons acting as direct supervisors for the progress of special meetings and events.

3. In the "Wieliczka" Salt Mine, it is prohibited to smoke tobacco outside places assigned for it and to use open fire.

4. The supervision over the progress of special events and meetings is done by persons appointed by name to supervise traffic who shall be responsible for safety of event participants. Due to the character of the venue (underground excavations of a mining plant in operation) close following of orders given by persons acting as supervisors for the progress of special events and meeting is absolutely required.

5. In the minê excavations and surface facilities, it is prohibited for unauthorised persons to tamper with electrical equipment and electric power supply line, water supply and fire safety network as well as the minê teletechnical network.
