YENI MOLINET (Yenisley Molinet De Armas)

She began her artistic career when she was 5 years old in children Dance courses at the Casa de la Cultura of Placetas - Villa Clara (Cuba).

After 10 years of participation in courses and dance events like festivals and provincial carnivals, she started creating her own choreographies, always getting the bests placements in competitions where she participated.

In 1999 she successfully passed the aptitude test for "Escuela Profesional de Arte Samuel Feijoo” of Santa Clara

- Villa Clara (Cuba), the only professional and national school of folk dances.

With the corps de ballet "Oshea" of the Art School Samuel Feijoo, she participated in various competitions and festivals of national level in different provinces, obtaining the bests results and rewards.

In 2001 she participated in the celebrations in memory of Beny Moré, where she was selected as protagonist for the execution of the choreography for "Fiesta de Orisha" interpreting "Yemaya".

In 2002 the Conjunto Folklorico Nacional de Cuba organized a selection of dancers from the last year of the Art School where only three males and three females were choosen in order to incorporate them in the international famous and importance company; Yeni Molinet was amongst them with the best rating.

On 10 July of the same year she graduated to a "Professional Dancer and Teacher of Folk Dances" with the maximum evaluation.

On August 5, 2002 she was incorporated in the main ballet of Conjunto Folklorico Nacional de Cuba.

In 2003 she participated in the repeated execution of the choreography "Oriki to Obatala"with the participation of the famous Cuban Folk Singer Lazaro Ros.

From 2003 she regularly began to participate at the "Sabado de la Rumba", at all the national tour of the company and the events that took place at major theaters (Gran Teatro de La Habana - Karl Marx - Garcia Lorca, etc ...) or scenarios of the capital, often with the presence of the Cuban President Fidel Castro Ruz and his international guests.

- Domingo Pau Despaigne (Founder, Teacher and Choreographer in the Conjunto Folklorico Nacional)

- Rogelio Martinez Fure (Founder and Professor in the Conjunto Folklorico Nacional)

- Santiago Alfonso (Teacher, Choreographer and former Director of the Cabaret Tropicana de La Habana)

- Manolo Micler (Director, Teacher and Choreographer in the Conjunto Folklorico Nacional)

- Zenaida Almentero (Singer Diva International of Folklore Cubano)

- Leonardo Martinez Moja (Professor and Choreographer in the Conjunto Folklorico Nacional)

- Sergio Antonio Larrinaga Morejon (Professor and Choreographer in the Conjunto Folklorico Nacional)

In 2004, following her professional career in the Conjunto Folklorico Nacional de Cuba, she also became the selector judge in the "Escuela Nacional de Variedades y Espetaculos" in the specialty of "Folklore".

In 2006 she got the first level as Dancer and Teacher specialized in Folk Dances on the "National  Assessment of Artistic Dance".

In March of the same year she participated in the international tour of "Mujeres en la Danza” in Quito (Ecuador) where she participated like protagonist in all of the company’s female choreographies.

In 2007 she participated in the international tour of the Conjunto Folklorico Nacional de Cuba in Mexico City and in various Mexican locations.

In September 2007 she moved to Udine (Italy), where she graduated to "Master of Caribbean Dance" - "Gold", the highest level of 

FIDS - CONI and founded her "Academia de Baile Yeni y su Danza Estelar”.

She is currently a Teacher and a Dancer who participates in the most important international conferences and festivals; she is recognized for her artistic and professional talent, charisma, grace and elegance that stipulate her as one of the best Dancers and Teachers in the panorama of contemporary Cuban culture.
